Community Impact
Serving the Community On and Off the Ice Since 2022
Giving Back Through Hockey
At AAPD Hockey Club, we believe hockey is more than a game. It is a way to bring people together, support those in need, and strengthen the communities we serve.
Since our founding in 2022, our players, families, supporters, sponsors, and community partners have used the sport of hockey as a platform to support charitable causes, strengthen community relationships, promote first responder wellness, and give back to those in need.
What began as a way for first responders to reconnect following the COVID-19 pandemic has grown into a nonprofit organization dedicated to service, outreach, and community impact throughout Maryland and beyond.

AAPD Hockey Club was founded in 2022 as a way for first responders to reconnect, build camaraderie, and promote wellness through the game of hockey following the COVID-19 pandemic.
During our first year, we supported The Famous Fund, helping businesses impacted by the pandemic, and participated in the inaugural Arundel Cup supporting Johns Hopkins Pediatric Sarcoma Research in memory of Matthew Albert Skube.
More Than Donations
While financial contributions are important, our impact extends beyond dollars raised.
Through community events, memorial games, charitable partnerships, and volunteer efforts, we strive to honor those who serve, support those in need, and strengthen the bonds between first responders and the communities they protect.
Looking Ahead
As AAPD Hockey Club continues to grow, so does our commitment to serving others.
We look forward to expanding our charitable impact, building new community partnerships, and creating even more opportunities to give back through the game of hockey.
